Below is a quick understanding of salvation in and through Jesus Christ:
1. We are all sinners and cannot save ourselves.
Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
Titus 3:5 “not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.”
Hebrews 2:3 “how shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed on to us by them that hurt him.”
Ephesians 2:8-9 “for by grace we are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.”
2. We must confess our sins and repent of them, which means to forsake them.
1 John 1:9 “if we confess our sense, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Proverbs 28:13 “he that covers his sin shall not prosper: but whosoever confess and for sake them she’ll have mercy.”
3. Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation.
John 3:16 “for God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believe it’s in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
John 3:36 “he that believe it’s on the sun at the everlasting life: and he that believe it’s not the sun shall not see life: but the wrath of God abides on him.”
John 14:6 “Jesus said unto him, I am the Way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the father, but by me.”

Acts 10-12
Romans 10:9-13 “that if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. The Scripture says, “whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.” For there is no distinction between Jew in Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on him; for “whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Prayer of Salvation: “Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and strengthen me, helping me to avoid sinning in again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead on the third day, ascending to sit at your right hand, He is alive, and hears my prayers. I invite Jesus to become the Savior and Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen!"
